Come Passion
The Soulful ART of Healing Trauma
By Colleen E. Clark
Unresolved trauma not only affects a person’s mental health but also their physical health. The body keeps score. This is why treating trauma disorders can make such a profound difference to someone’s quality of life. Unfortunately, treatment for PTSD and complex PTSD is a long, costly process with no guaranteed successful outcome. Or it has been, until now. Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or ART, shows real results in as few as eight sessions.
Colleen E. Clarke trains ART therapists in Canada and internationally. Come Passion: The Soulful ART of Healing Trauma draws from her practical experience in delivering this therapy to enhance your work as an ART therapist. Come Passion is part manual, part workbook, with a focus on how to prepare your client and yourself for ART, showing you how to help your client’s healing journey from a position of compassion.
"Colleen weaves her knowledge, skills, wisdom and passion to guide us in laying the foundation for practicing Accelerated Resolution Therapy. She invites us to use our heads, hands, hearts in the soul work of helping people find meaningful resolution to their trauma experiences."

"Colleen Clark was trained by me in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) in 2014. She is a clinical ART specialist who has worked very diligently to bring her passion for ART to Canada and single handedly, with the help of assistants, of course, trained more than 1,000 therapists in this quick and effective modality."

I am traditionally trained as a trauma therapist. However when I became a trainer in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART ), I developed a trauma-informed assessment and procedural methodology where the therapist could commence trauma therapy with ART in the third or fourth session with the client, instead of having a traditional six-month stabilization phase. As the ART Trainer for Canada, a universal and consistent question ALWAYS is: "Colleen, what do you do before you do ART with the client?" This book is the answer.
ART is a profound paradigm shift in clinical practice. My goal is to change mental health practice globally with ART, and Come Passion: The Soulful ART of Healing Trauma provides a safe procedural framework for the mental health professional and their clinical work with clients. We don't need to suffer.
