About Marty
Marty left civil engineering and took over BMP when her father, David G. Britton, became ill in 1994. At that time, BMP was an investigative and executive reference checking business. Over the decades, Marty & her team have continued to add pre-employment screening services to make sure their clients hire the right candidate—the first time.
She’s an active member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA), where she is a past-chair of the Canadian board.
She is also a proud member of the Women Presidents Organization. BMP is a certified member of both WBE Canada and WEConnect International.
While most candidates are honest and ethical, a large percentage of candidates do misrepresent themselves. My goal is to equip you with the confidence and peace of mind that comes from truly knowing who you hire.
