[July 12, 2023.] Jonathan Inman of The Montgomery Herald writes about Jack Rocco’s bestselling memoir, “Recycled.”
“Through college Rocco was involved in a lot of writing but says he never got involved in creative writing until as of late when he wrote his recent book, ‘Recycled.’
This was a period where he was going through a separation with his now ex-wife Kari-Ann, and he had a new job and was living in a new area. He was still trying to figure out why things went from being so great to just blowing up. There were always issues that arose from what Rocco referred to as “the adoption thing.” It was just a nebulous part of his life. Something about the adoption thing always seemed to be the 800-pound gorilla in the room when it came down to it. Rocco was adopted at just six-weeks old and was accepted into a loving family that nurtured him and helped him to become a successful person. He ended up with a wife and child of his own but soon found himself struggling with something that he just couldn’t completely put his finger on. “
