FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Toronto, ON, Monday, November 24, 2025 — Ingenium Books has signed Dr. Gopal Chopra, MD, MBA, FRACS, to publish his groundbreaking new book, a pioneering exploration of human learning in the age of AI and how we stay cognitively agile in a rapidly changing world.
Finding Your Edge: Reinventing How We Learn and Staying Neurologically Agile through Aging, AI, and Whatever Comes Next (working title) is shaped by Dr. Chopra’s rare combination of scientific depth, business acumen, and human insight. A neurosurgeon, entrepreneur, and educator with more than two decades of global experience, Dr. Chopra brings a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to one of the most urgent questions of our time: How do we continue to learn—and stay relevant—in a world increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and rapid change?
“We are constantly learning, whether we know it or not, and it’s through this process that we find our edge,” says Dr. Chopra. “In an era defined by hypercognition and efficiency, it’s a natural human reaction to be intrigued—and maybe a little concerned—but it is not the fear of being superseded by something more intelligent that should preoccupy us; rather focus on how we maintain our human creative advantage and evolve or adapt beyond being experts.”
Finding Your Edge explores the nature of learning itself: what it means to learn as we age, how human cognition differs from machine intelligence, and how each of us can harness our innate capacity for curiosity, creativity, and cognitive growth. Through neuroscience, strategy, and storytelling, Dr. Chopra reveals how learning on the edge—where knowledge meets the unknown—fuels both innovation and purpose.
Dr. Chopra’s insights stem from a career that spans continents and disciplines. He has practised as a neurosurgeon in Australia, India, Canada, and the United States, and has held faculty appointments at Stanford University, Duke University, and the University of Melbourne. He is also co-founder and managing partner of TCG, an executive accelerator focused on cutting-edge smart and personalized medical and wellness technologies.
About Finding Your Edge, Dr. Chopra says, “This book is a guide for understanding the neurological foundation of learning, not just for performing mundane tasks, but for deep, self-driven discovery that AI is far from replicating.”
“Finding Your Edge will appeal to anyone curious about the future of human intelligence in the age of AI,” says Boni Wagner-Stafford, publisher at Ingenium Books. “It’s a blueprint for a future in which human ingenuity remains central. We believe it will become a cornerstone reference for AI discussions, tech ethics, and future-of-work strategy.”
Finding Your Edge is slated for publication in the fall of 2026.
