Stop Guessing. Start Publishing.
Stories are not ornamental. They're civic infrastructure.
When people ask why our publishing program matters, the answer is this:
This is the heart of Ingenium Books: publishing stories that bring us closer, not farther apart.
Stories that remind us we are not alone.
Stories that show how belonging is built.
We select manuscripts with strong potential—and authors whose goals align with our vision.
Our Imprints
Granum Kids

Ingenium Books
High-impact nonfiction, like business, memoir, and journalistic work that inspires
transformation through expertise; connection through understanding.
Nexum Books

connection, empathy, and shared human experience.
We champion books that:
Whether it’s a memoir, a novel, a work of journalistic nonfiction, or a children’s book, the common thread is connection. We publish voices that open doors.
Let’s Define Your Path Forward.
The Ingenium Books submission journey is designed for clarity and rigour.
We ensure a mutual fit between your book's vision and our editorial standards before a formal partnership is offered.
STEP 1
Book Your Discovery Call
Before we review your manuscript or consider a publishing offer, we start with a Discovery Call. This is a simple, focused conversation that helps us understand your book and gives you a clearer picture of what publishing with Ingenium Books might look like.
During this 20-minute discussion, we will cover:
This conversation helps us determine whether your project is a good fit for the Ingenium Books catalogue.
STEP 2
Your Invitation-Only Manuscript Diagnostic Editorial Letter (DEL)
If we determine, based on our call, that there is a potential fit, our next step is to invite you to purchase a Diagnostic Editorial Letter (DEL).
The DEL is a rigorous, professional assessment designed to clarify a manuscript’s current strengths, areas for development, its readiness for publication, and the precise editorial path to get it there. This high-value editorial assessment provides clear guidance—useful whether you revise on your own or we move ahead together.
The Diagnostic Editorial Letter is a necessary component for us to determine whether we will extend a formal publishing offer.
Investment & Value: $1,000 USD for manuscripts up to 80K words—fully credited if we later offer you a publishing contract. Wherever your journey takes you, you leave with value and a clear roadmap.
(For those invited to Step 2)
To ensure a professional assessment, all submissions must adhere to these guidelines:
Title page with working title, author name, and word count.
Synopsis.
Completed table of contents.
Chapters starting on new pages.
Page numbers.
Double-spaced text.
12–14 pt serif font (e.g., Times New Roman or similar).
Sidenote for Authors Without a Manuscript
Not quite ready with your manuscript? If you’re developing your book concept or exploring whether book doctoring or ghostwriting might help, we’re happy to talk through your options and help you understand the path ahead.
STEP 3
Your Proposal & Publishing Contract Offer
For projects that show strong market potential and align with our publishing vision, your Diagnostic Editorial Letter will be accompanied by a formal proposal and publishing offer.
Phase One: Editorial
Editorial Rigour is our Core Philosophy
Strong editing is the foundation of a successful book. Our approach is grounded, careful, and collaborative.
Informed by your Diagnostic Editorial Letter, we help strengthen what’s already working and offer guidance on places that need more support or refinement.
Once your manuscript is certified by our Director of Editorial, we transition into the active production phase.
Phase Two: Production & Market Prep
This is where we transform your manuscript into a bookstore-ready asset, setting the stage for your Managed Marketing Launch.
1. Final Production & Design
The goal of this stage is visual excellence and technical readiness for distribution.
2. Market Setup & Distribution
This stage is the vital administrative work that connects your book to the global retail supply chain.
Phase Three: Your Managed Launch: Exceptional Support You Won’t Find Anywhere Else
Once your book is ready, we transition from production to the marketplace. Our Managed Launch strategy is designed to position your book for maximum impact, taking the administrative burden off your shoulders so you can focus on being the author.
Retail & Media Outreach
When your book is ready, we prepare and share professional materials with relevant bookstores, retailers, and media contacts. The goal is to help your book reach the right places without you having to manage dozens of details on your own.
Professional Digital Assets
You receive clean, ready-to-use graphics, banners, and a dedicated Author Page. These give you a strong online presence right from the start — no scrambling to create visuals or figure out what’s needed for launch.
Expert Launch Coaching & Training
Our 9-session launch training series breaks the process down into manageable steps. You’ll learn how to build a supportive launch team, how to talk about your book, and how to introduce it to readers in a way that feels doable and sustainable.

Strategic Lead Time:
The 18–24 Month Advantage
We believe that a successful book requires meticulous planning, not a rushed timeline. Authors who accept and sign the publishing contract can expect their book's official release date to be scheduled ~18 to 24 months from the signing date.
This strategic lead time is essential for success. It allows for the necessary depth and quality control across every stage:
We dedicate this time to ensuring your book is positioned for maximum impact in the marketplace.
Ready to Take the Next Step With Your Book?
Wherever your manuscript is, you don’t have to navigate the next stage alone. We’re here to help you understand what your book needs and how to move forward with confidence.
